H1Z1 may have been one of the first Battle Royale shooters on the block to really define the sub-genre as we know it, but it’s rapidly fallen out of vogue as the likes of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite rose to dominate the scene.
Hoping to reestablish their place upon the pantheon of multiplayer mega-studios, Daybreak are rolling out a major new update for the game today, officially bringing it out of early access. Along with it, a surprising new variant playmode launching direct to servers: Auto Royale.
