Just when you thought our best graphics card list was set in stone, Nvidia go and release yet another new GPU in the form of the RTX 2080 Super. Priced exactly the same as AMD‘s Radeon 7 graphics card but offering substantially more performance, Nvidia’s top-end RTX Super GPU is now the graphics card to beat for 4K gaming (outside of their ludicrously expensive RTX 2080 Ti, that is).
However, if the first pair of [cms-block] cards are anything to go by, it’s highly possible AMD’s got another 4K contender waiting in the wings somewhere that (hopefully) won’t bruise our wallets quite as much as Nvidia’s 2080 Super. Still, until the rest of AMD’s Navi family make themselves known, it’s pretty much an open goal for Nvidia right now, so I thought it was high time to update our best graphics card list to reflect what’s currently available. So, to help you cut through the noise and find the bestest best GPU for you and your budget, I’ve rounded up all the best graphics cards you can buy right now for gaming at 1080p, 1440p and 4K. Whatever your budget, we’ve got a best graphics card recommendation for you.
