What a cluttered field it’s become, eh? In this instance, the one-man project Bohemian Killing [official site] tells a tale of Alfred Ethon, accused of a grisly murder in a steampunk 19th century Paris rife with racism and tension. It then sets things in two time periods, the present day of the courtroom in which you are trapped, surrounded by the evidence against you, building your case, and working out what approach you’ll take, with flashbacks to the year previously when the crime was committed.
